Liz Beattie and Simon Margetts began playing music together three years ago, after meeting through their respective bands, Machina and Maurice. Their collaboration has led them to performances throughout Canada, a song featured in the Hollywood movie “Write and Wrong”, an appearance on CBC Radio One, and opening spots for artists such as Matthew Good, Chad VanGaalen, Martyn Joseph, and Cara Luft. After a cross-Canada tour in August/September 09, Lizzie and Simon look forward to promoting the recent release of their first album, entitled “Under the Ivy”.

Hey, as usual, we're doing our weekly show at Serious Coffee @ Broad St, and this one is going to be AWESOME because we're done our EP material, and will be practicing it lots (i think you can guess why).
To sum it up: LONG WEEKEND SHOW AT SERIOUS COFFEE BEST SHOW YET.
Ahhhhhhhh we will meet again in the fall I shall hope. We should def try to do a double bill eh make beautiful sweet music together? Me open for you? :o) I leave for Alberta in 9 days!! Seclusion in the bushy bush for 4 months. tra la la...someday we shall reconvene!
