About me: I live in Brighton and am a part-time textile artist. I have loved working with textiles since doing a GCSE in it at school. I love the colours and textures of fabrics, and though I love being creative in other mediums, ultimately textiles is my passion!
I love silk painting in particular and then working over a piece with machine or hand embroidery. I am always trying to use new materials and techniques to vary my work. A piece I'm currently working on involves wire, fabric and paint on canvas for example.
Currently I display my work at the Brighton Art Open houses during May and Dec. From this May I am part of the 'Fiveways group'of Open houses as a guest artist in house no. 19 on the trail- www.fiveways artists.com/
