Liz was born in Austin, Texas to the life of the Vagabond-Bard, when her parents first loaded her into the family station wagon, popped a Bob Dylan tape into the 8-Track, and made like rolling stones for Madison, Wisconsin.
From there her life was almost pre-ordained. After graduating from Vanderbilt University’s Music program with a major in Piano and a minor in Voice, she came full circle back to Austin where she cut her teeth playing the local music circuit while surviving on a diet of frozen peas and ramen noodles.
For now, at least until she rolls again, she can be seen demonstrating her skills of near-perfect recall, both behind the bar and on the piano, at Houston’s famed acoustic venue, McGonigel’s Mucky Duck.
