my favourite is just leave, your vocals are really folky. yer i really like your stuff, great guitar playing. except i get the feeling that your taking the piss out of recorders a bit in the last song....thats not very nice!
Al just uses his little micro-korg, but in the recordings up he got to use a Wasp (which is amazing) and this other rather cool keyboard.
haha, yer my grandparents love southwold, we went as a family every year, but me and my mum n dad always escaped to norwich to the East exhibition.
Yes! I can't tell you the number of gigs i've done where i've just been sat in the corner for ambient noise. If I was being paid squillions for doing it maybe it would be worth it... maybe. But when its for free and no one listens, its hard to see the point. And like you say your supposed to be grateful because they got you a 'gig.' This is precisely the reason I don't advertise myself as acoustic, as some people just seem to see that as living backround music.
I like what you said about promoters, so few promoters actually promote. Which i've never quite understood?
I had a look at that place. Thats what venue's need, anti-talk posters. I honestly cannot understand it, they paid to get in and see the band as well as me?
I had a short fat girl next to me last night who kept phoning people up midway through quiet songs to get them to listen, and proceeded to sing loudly and out of tune to every song.
I've never punched a women... but there's always a first time for everything.
Hello! Yeah my course is great, i'm enjoying the subject thank goodness. I really want to come to London and see you! No idea when though, the next chance will be at Christmas but you will probably be home then anyway... how is Goldsmiths???! xxx
I only got your comment today!!! Doh. so i missed it, but i did give someone directions to the talk on thursday while i was at work! heehe. I hope you're ok! How's London? x
Everything and everything is all in place and going swimmingly. I will actually be in london on the 4th November, going to see Nofx at Brixton academy. So... yeah. We should make plans if possible. And I might come to Menomena tomorrow night IF my loan lands in my bank... we will see... xxx
