Dear Liz-- I wish I had the words to adequately explain how much your message means to me. I have always believed there is a reason for every step, and while I was at Poolesville, the reasons for me being there revolved around you and your classmates. In the most important way, my time there was truly the "best of times," and for that I will be forever grateful.
Your kindness, your compassion, your drive to make the world a better place, and your ability to stand up for what you believe in have made me admire you, and those like you, who never give up. I have not given up on teaching-- I just needed to call a time out before, well, before bad things happened. I know now, more than ever, where I belong and what I'm meant to do.
Your righteous indignation inspires me. :) Go and do wonderful things. Take care of yourself, and never stop looking for and digging at the best life has to offer. :) And it is truly a pleasure to hear from you.
