Gigging female trumpeter for quite an eclectic range of groups, including jazz, folk and soul groups to classical ensembles, brass bands and big bands.
Having had a 3 year stint as a horn section member of the West End regular Some Like It Hot soul revue band, Liz now plays with Latin band Lament, with TimeSquared, a Leamington Spa based Acid Jazz/ R&B group, as well as continuing to play and record with fantastic singer songwriter Justine.
Liz also helps out in the brass section of Jean McLean (aka Reggaebaby) and has assisted the Winnebago Orchestra by putting a bit of trumpet down on their last couple of albums, the second of which is to be released fairly soon on the Tuition label.
Hiya. If you or Chris have had a listen to the Boomshadow, apologies for the terrible recordings. We're doing something a bit better soon with audible vocals. I also wanted to say, to give you more of an idea what we're like, Steve I said we were a bit like the Pixies and Nirvana which is a bit more exciting that "Classic and Bluesie Rock". Take care x
Aw no! It's Brainstorm on Halloween! I think I have to be there to set up the PA. If I can sort something, I'll come to the gig. Just listening to Lament - nice.
Hey! Just thought I'd let you know that some new Like My Shadow tracks are up on my page, so have a bit of a listen! Hope your having a great week Beth xx
Really enjoyed the workshop & gig yesterday - it's really great having you on board with Lament, your playing is ace and adds so much to the sound. See you soon, Tom
