Influences
Basically anyone who puts everything they have: heart, mind, body, soul, passion... into their music. I admire people who take on music as an art rather than just something to listen to. When you're an artist, music becomes a need. It becomes the very reason that keeps you alive and the art of it comes through the emotion and feeling you express through it. I enjoy many different kinds of music and my CD collection has a variety of artists through many genres. But if I had to choose someone who's definitely inspired and influenced me, it'd have to be Sarah Mclachlan and Ani Difranco. The way they're so fearless and honest in their music is the exact example of how I think every artist should be.
