Bio
There is something familiar about Liz Williams' music but it’s hard to put your finger on. Toronto, Canada via London and many spaces in between watermark the musical influences and style of music Liz Williams creates. Her music is personal, reflective, honest and raw. About the girl - explorer, wearer of her heart on her sleeve, storyteller, digger for truth and growth. After a successful first EP “Look at me Now” an ablum is under way and due to launch in the Spring of 2011. 'Nough said... it's all about the music anyway! -

Hi, Liz.
Well, we've been re-organizing this summer, so no festivals to speak of for us, this year.
We have 2 new singers, who had to lean all original songs to sing.
And the songs are NOT easy to learn . . . a lot of the changes are unusual chords, which are counterintuitive.
.
And, now, our bassist is going to part-time so that he can spend full-time with his new girl friend.
Sheesh!
I'm often the only instrumentalist in our band, and it's a lot of pressure on me.
So, we're fast-turning into a band of vocal harmonies.
But Melissa and Sue are sounding real nice together, though, and I've done duos with each of them.
Our harmonica player, Chris Lennox, has a deep rich voice, with a playful quality to it.
Many of our songs have 4 and 5 part harmonies, and they sound simply delicious . . .
I've been also writing a new song a week, for the last couple months . . . but I can't learn them as fast as I write them, and still retain the quality level of all the other songs, without continual practice on my part.
So - I don't know where the pieces will be falling, but I'm happy with the people in the band.
Hmm - Liz, I didn't mean to write a book here!
Sorry! I think I'll use it as a blog . . .
You just got me thinking, is all . . .
I hope all continues to be well with you and your new music . . .
Be well . . .
