LIZZ

LIZZ was born and raised in Singapore, an only child to a single parent. Her introduction to music and inspiration to get into the music industry was a result of watching many live concerts at a very young age with her grandmother. Singing to an imaginary crowd in her bedroom was a favourite childhood past time for her. During her school days, she would eagerly look for opportunities to choreograph and stage her own shows for the teachers and students. After she left school, she continued to perform in events. She was also cast in Director Ho Tzu Nyen's Feature Film 'HERE'. Driven by this passion for music and performing, she learnt to play the guitar and started writing songs seriously. She released her 1st self-titled EP in Feb 2009. And was featured on Channel 8 on her journey as an Indie Singer-songwriter. On Dec 8, 2010, she released her 2nd EP NEXT. MTV Taiwan & OMY.SG premiered “Insanity Mind” music video and “Maybe” music video was premiered on Channel V Asia, both songs are in ‘NEXT’ (EP).

LIZZ 梁丽怡来自新加坡, 是位单亲家庭的独生女. 从小外婆常带她去看演唱会, 因此启发她对音乐和表演的兴趣. 童年时经常站在床上唱歌和表演给假想观众. 在学校内, 总会找机会为教师和学生演出. 每当机会来了, 她会好好把握, 自己编导舞台表演. 离开学校后, 她继续演出活动. 也参加了Ho Tzu Nyen导演的电影‘HERE’. 因着对音乐和表演的热爱, 她决定学吉他, 并开始认真地写歌. 在二月2009年, 她发行第一张同名EP专辑LIZZ. 新加坡8频道电视台也采访Lizz关于她作为独立歌手的旅程. 在2010年12月8日, 她发行第二张EP专辑’NEXT’. 专辑里的歌“Insanity Mind“ MV在3月21日台湾MTV频道和OMY.SG首播, “Maybe” MV在CHANNEL V频道首播.
