"Cathedral Escape" live at Burwell with Jock Tyldesly, 2009
I paint, draw, make things, and do other things with fiddles and pianos.
Of British/Welsh roots, born in York, & grew up in Cambridge, where I'm now based for the time being.
Studied Music, Art, Photography, Philosophy and English Language in Cambridge then moved to Ireland for 4 years. Graduated with a 1st class honours degree from the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance, Limerick, in the summer of 2009.
I run my own small art/jewellery business, RaggleTaggleGypsy, & also work freelance as a photographer, graphic/web designer, proof-reader, & fiddle teacher.
I am just beginning to conceive of my first solo album of compositions and arty experiments... watch this space!

I love your work! I listened to a few of your pieces and they are great! I love the artwork you've done too! I wish I could get as good as you, I'm doing 2nd year GCSE art at the moment and i'm not the best but I give it a good go :)!
Lizzie,I've spent the last half an hour making pastries and listening to your beautiful music from the myspace, to top it off the sun is shining and it feels like Autumn, after the summer we were nearly washed away in, one day of sun and all is forgiven of the sky!, best wishes to you from Macroom, Ger.
Hello Lizzy, How are yeh? Hope alls well and happy with you! Just been listening to your music there, gorgeous stuff! Are you up round Sligo at all in the near future? Sure ya know where we are on thurs if you are. Hope the studies are coming along nicely. Chat to yeh. C. p.s. beautiful profile pic...you go girl!
Thanks for the tips - Mairaed was the only one I hadn't looked at. Wouldn't you know her top friend was Annborg Lien - I hadn't been able to find her before. Baba Yaga was one of those albums that brought me back to playing about 7 years ago. If you have time, sign my guestbook on my page sometime. BTW I love your Freida self portrait. How long have you been doing visual arts? I saw one of your pieces on another myspace page as the main background.
you're welcome! My recordings are also sort of rough drafts - recorded in a friend's bathroom as a christmas gift for my family. The horse is Isabella - that photo shoot was my freebee for handling her so she could be photographed with another artist friend of mine. Can you recommend any other good irish acts to lookup on myspace? Cheers
Thanks 4 that Lizzy - apparently there's some Cape B tunes in UL tonight? If you weren't planning on it already that's my suggestion. I am going to brave it although I know about 3 tunes I love the sound of it. Will be going to CB asap. BTW I set this up 'with a little help from my friends' so it wont be always me on this myspace - just 2 warn ;). Thanks again - Joanne
Hey Lizzy, thanks for befriending us! Listening to your Baldock upload from youtube - great tunes especially the last one. Where did you get these cool tunes and do they have names?
