L&J Records was formed in the Spring of 2005
by Jesus DJGC Velazquez (CEO/Producer) and Lamont Gates. (CEO/Artist).
L&J Records is an independently owned label out of Paterson New Jersey that deals primarily with Hip Hop music.
However, L&J Records is owned by two people who love music more than anyone else in the world, therefore the label also caters to the styles of R&B, Reggaeton, Urban Dance, and others as well.
L&J was formed out of strict love for good music and a hate for promising artists that were out shadowed some way by the big (five) company gimmicks.
L&J Records strive to bring the best music to the table by producing records that have a meaning behind it.
No matter what style of music that L&J Records puts out, you will hear a signiture sound that only this label could bring to you.
Many majors lack in the area of having their own sound. One of the things that L&J Records strive to do is bring 100% originality to the table.
