David Bowie, Mozart, Queen, Ravel, Chicago, Bach, Supertramp, Scissor Sisters, The Killers, Kanye West, ELO, Prodigy, Oasis, Jay-Z... actually loads thinking about it. In summary, very indiscriminate as long as it has some kind of musical merit.

Laura-Jane has played the piano since she was 3 years old. She has perfect pitch which means she can hear anything and play it on the piano, fully orchestrated. She can tell you what note you blow your nose on, and what key you speak in. She can play most instruments including hosepipes, bottles, glasses, shawms, bagpipes, thumb pianos, tibetan singing bowls, and bass recorders, but the piano and keyboards are her favourite.
When she was 11, she won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, and was the human tuning fork for their chamber choir during her studies there. After graduating from Oxford University, she worked as an assistant sound engineer at Pete Waterman's London studio before she ran off to join a rock opera band that toured the USA.
When Laura-Jane returned to the UK, after a spate of working at the NHS in the daytime and gigging at night, she started working in TV, and her day job is currently as a technology expert on QVC. This suits her as she gets to play with the latest futuristic star-trek style gadgets before they hit the streets. Laura-Jane is a huge fan of science fiction, especially some of the stranger cyber-punk stuff, and quite a lot of double-bag book purchases are made from Borders.
Laura-Jane performs at the piano, and loves to get the audience to shout out songs for her to play and sing. These have included pretty much anything that's been in the charts for the last forty years, and peaking with a fully acoustic version of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" together with her friend Terri, and (with enough encouragement and loss of dignity) "Agadoo" by Black Lace. She will sing and play pretty much anything, actually.
