Held annually in the picturesque Welsh town of Llangollen, Dee Rocks has established itself as the premier live music event aimed specifically at raising money for local charities and good causes.
All the event organisers and participants donate their equipment, skills and time at no cost to bring you an event that, year on year, exceeds all expectations.
This year's fastest-ever sell-out event took place on Saturday May 24th 2008 with all tickets being snapped up within 7 days of release. Thanks go out from the organisers of Dee Rocks to everyone that attended helping to make this year's event the best yet.
There is only one Dee Rocks - accept no cheap alternatives!
Styes in Their Eyes
An integral part of the Dee Rocks experience as local characters take to the stage to entertain and dazzle the audience with their party pieces.

- When the Sun Goes Down (Arctic Monkeys);
- Sweet Child O' Mine (Guns n' Roses);
- Elevation (U2);
- Let Me Entertain You (Robbie Williams);
- Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol);
- Cigarettes & Alcohol (Oasis);
- Chelsea Dagger (The Fratellis);
- Since You've Been Gone (Kelly Clarkson);
- I Wish I was a Punk Rocker (Sandi Thom);
- Simply the Best (Tina Turner);
- Basket Case (Green Day);
- Mr Brightside (The Killers);
- I'm Too Sexy (Right Said Fred);
- Black Parade (My Chemical Romance);
- I Predict a Riot (Kaiser Chiefs);
- 500 Miles (The Proclaimers);
- Hammer to Fall (Queen);
- Amarillo (Tony Christie);
- Are You Gonna Be My Girl (Jet);
- The Day We Caught the Train (Ocean Colour Scene);
- Burning Love (Elvis Presley);
- Waterloo (ABBA);
- Black Velvet (Alannah Miles);
- Gay Bar (Electric Six);

Fancy appearing at the next Dee Rocks?
Throughout the weeks leading up to a Dee Rocks event, applicants for the available slots during 'Styes in Their Eyes' are encouraged to contact us with their details and possible song choices.
No previous experience is necessary, but you should live locally, be outgoing and willing to get up in front of a large audience suitably attired.
Watch this webpage for application details for the next Dee Rocks event scheduled for May 2009.
As Dee Rocks is a licenced evening event, all applicants must be over 18 years of age on the day of the event.
Hi, shame I couldn't come to Dee Rocks this year, will try to next year though. I'm not too sure about doing karaoke but I'm sure that Petrol Rainbow will play if you need something to fill the gaps lol.
Anyways, good luck with the event and all.
I wonder what they mean by cheap imitations... I guess we'll never find out...
I have the best song for next year (not for me - I know I'm not popular enough to sing at Dee Rocks) but for someone else I'll let you know when I see you - it's a corker !!!!!!
