Well, here's a few artists I like to think affect my music more directly than most - Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Björk.
Other than that, well, of course there are artists and bands I listen to and love very much. The Mars Volta, Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, Sigur Rós, Antony and the Johnsons, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, José González, Alice in Chains, Mates of State (thanks Geoff), Katie Tunstall, The Dave Brubeck Quartet, The Pixies, The Police, Aerosmith, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction, Regina Spektor, A Perfect Circle, The Silversun Pickups...

Well, apparently I sound a tiny bit like Thom Yorke and there's pieces of Buckley in there I'm told, but probably just in the ideas rather than the voice. Jeff, that is.
It's now February 2009 and I'm back onto recording seeing as I went and got myself a shiny new microphone. Just added a new track today - Sybille! More to come soon...
