1998 was the start of it I guess, that's when I purchased my first decks and began to really spin! I had been dorkin' around for years on a friends set and had finally got off my lazy butt.
After a few years I began to feel a bit dissatisfied with the sounds that were comming out. I just couldn't find the right feel to them, they just seemed too cold and emotionless to me. So, I got a computer, a few studio programs and synths, and began to write my own stuff!
Now here is the problem I'm running into now! I've written a lot of good stuff and would love to spin it but, finding a label to put this to press and promote it, well, that's a little more tricky. Thus, MySpace! Woohoo!!
Influences
ALWAYS THE RAMONES ROCK!!!
I love so many bands too many to fill out this thing, so I guess I will say...
DJ's: Tiësto, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Sasha, John Diggweed, Keoki, DJ Dan ('cause he's my hommie!), and the list goes on!
Tech: Fat Boy Slim, Infusion, Zero 7, Moogwai, Rabbit in the Moon, Harem Doctors, Properfilthynaughty, Paris & Sharp, Keoki, Utah Saints, Unionjack, FSOL, Fluke, etc...
Rock: NIN, AC/DC, Aerosmith, The Cult, Metallica, Marylin Manson, Type O Negative, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, etc...
Punk: Black Flag, Misfits (and the many other manifestaions of Glen Danzig), Sex Pistols, Gwar, DRI, PiL, Dead Milkmen, etc...
New Age: Vangelis, Enya, Deep Forest, Enigma, B-Tribe, etc...
Country: Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakam, and anything Bluegrass!
Jazz: Louis Armstrong, Billy Holiday (I have everything by her), Nina Simone!
Soul: James Brown, Ohio Players, Carl Douglas ('cause everybody's Kung-Fu fighting)!
And of course Speed Racer!!!
More to come...
Sounds Like
Tom Waits... charismatic story-teller with a
penchant for freaky people and unusual
settings. You thrive on the concept of the
underdog coming out on top.
For some reason you actually have to click on this map to see where I've been!
The Report - by DJ Life
Well a lot of things have been goin' on and this article is a bit outta date. So, I gotta change it up a bit.
Things have been jumpin' lately, and though I'd love to get out and go on tour, I honestly have not had the time. Sorry guys! Currently, I'm running a company out here as a fulltime gig, with that, instructing part-time and taking care of my boys, I've had a hard time even getting few projects finished (as you can imagine). But, have no fear! I'm working on a few new tracks as well as some remixes. Also am working with T on getting a more energetic club remix for "Raven" out to ya! Outside of that, I'm looking at a few possible soundtrack gigs and a couple of labels.
Massimo and I are currently looking to promote the latest venture into the biz in setting up the US division to Groove Bookings. So, if your an American DJ looking for a few european gigs let us know! We've had some good success with Radio Space One and are hoping the mommentum keeps going!
DJLIFE.DE is having yet another makeover so, all you'll get is the construction page.
EDMSPECTRUM.com is still running and the remix competitions have been good! I haven't had much time to interview artists for Joel and Ash. It does bother me as I really wish I could do more for them. Sorry guys! Much love to ya!
I want to say congrats to my nephew as he will be in Oz-Fest this year!!! WOOHOO!!!
I'll try and update this thing a bit more often! ;P
Ok ... I'll keep some of the old bio in for those who still want to know more.

Song of Childhood
By Peter Handke
When the child was a child
It walked with its arms swinging,
wanted the brook to be a river,
the river to be a torrent,
and this puddle to be the sea.
When the child was a child,
it didnt know that it was a child,
everything was soulful,
and all souls were one.....
