And as always the LNO house band, Bob Ingram on guitar, Tony Raggo on bass and Jim Liakus on drums. And any given Wednesday you can be treated to the guitar work of Phil Liebergal who has helped us out more times then I can tell you. Richy Abate is also there almost every week providing some great back up guitar work. Steve Carmen co-owner of LNO Entertainment has been there every week playing drums and helping us with production. We just added back to our regular roster John Echert and AMP PRO Sound. LNO was started in August of 07' ....... Since then we have continued to grow and evolve ..... Every Wednesday night LNO presents the areas hottest new talent.
"Lenny's Night Out" ( LNO ) is not only a band, it is a family..... A family of musicians ......... Each week we all get together and play our hearts out ...... Each week is a surprise..... Each week we see new faces and the list continues to grow and grow.......It is truly an experience that no other open mic's come close to.........All I can say is you need to just show up and go up.
When you come to LNO all you need to bring with you is your axe and a kick ass attitude ..... We provide everything else you'll need. There is a full backline including drums and keyboards...... Also at your disposal is a full sound system with monitors......If you would like to bring in a small amp or keyboard of your own that's fine with us..... What ever will make your playing experience the most enjoyable.
The way we try to run the night in order to keep the music flowing is we give each band/musician 3 songs sometimes more if the list isn't too backed up ..... Be prepared .... If you need to tune or discuss your song list do it before you go up....Feel free to check out the stage gear anytime before you go up...Ask me or one of the house band members for any information about the equipment ahead of time.....It's like I said...Doing these little things makes the night flow and everybody gets a fair amount of stage time ..... It's your time but if you're ready to go when you're called that's all the more time you will have to perform.
The idea behind what we're doing at LNO, and other open mic's is simple ... We are trying to bring live music back to where it was....Or at least close to it...... These days bands have to compete with DJ's, Karaoke, and even Internet Juke Boxes .... Live bands are slowly giving up on playing out and either disappear into the studio or simply just disappear ..... With your support LNO and all the other open mic's can help turn that process around .... With your support we can introduce new talent, new music ..... People want to hear it, they just don't have a decent place to go listen to it.
Most of these clubs are charging an arm and a leg to come out and see ONE band .... At an open mic you get to see several different bands/musicians FOR FREE !!! ..... It's an awesome thing we're doing and we want you to be part of it every week...... Blues, Country, Rock, Jazz, Original, Reggae, RockaBilly and more..... We have it !!!
Each week we give you the chance to come on stage and play your heart out. In the last few years since our conception we have seen several hundred musicians come in on a Wednesday and perform original music as well as cover tunes. All are welcome. Most go on to get themselves a booking at KCs Korner on a Saturday night. It's all about having fun.
This past year we proudly launched LNO Entertainment. We are a specialized management company featuring personalized artist representaion. We'll help you get the exposure you want. We will advance all your shows and deal with all aspects of promotion from press kits to live media and much more.

Lenny, I believe very few musicians realize the amount of time, effort, and real work you put into this project. Everyone who reads this should go and support Lenny's great endeavor. Lenny, had a marvelous time last night. You're a great musician and a fine Human Being. Peace
Small world --- guess what ? i'm going to see SHERRY LYNN tonight around the corner from me -- My best friends brother in law is playing in her band now so they invited me - when I heard the name I thought that sounded familiar so I checked it out and of course YOU are the one that referred me to her.
