The City Riot emerged from that long tradition of young men who have a mix of rock and roll, good haircuts and Jack Daniels flowing through their veins. Inspired by likes of The Beatles, Oasis, Kasabian and The Stone Roses, The City Riot are knocking out terrace-anthems by the shed load, the sort of thing your mates will be singing to you after 5 Stella's down your local boozer. In little over a year the band have developed a fearsome live reputation throughout the South West of England courtesy of live shows fizzing with an attitude and sound that marks them out as a band to keep an eye on.Just don't ask them to mind your pint........or your girlfriend.

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience. Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from August 2009 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
