About me: I was born and raised in Scotland by my mother Marie. As I grew of age my mother told me a story of how she had an indiscretion with a pirate named Captain Teague. She also warned me that it was rumored that his son was Captain Jack Sparrow and that he may be my half brother.
Knowing what she knew, she forced me into working for the East India Trading Company at an early age in hopes I would be safe. We sailed all over the world our main sailings were to the Caribbean to transport goods. At the age of fifteen, a pirate ship took us by surprise delivering goods to iceland. the pirate ship "The black Ice" attacked us and took over our ship. They made off with the goods, the ship, and myself along with many of my shipmates.
I became a prisoner. I was to work for the Crue swabbing the decks and cleaning the galley as well as taking care of the dog sledding dogs when we were at port. After a while, I began to enjoy being a part of the ship. I became a member of the crew and moved up in the ranks. I trained with the riggers and was eventually given the title.
While sailing on the Black Ice in the Artic We were in battle and broke our main mast. We searched for one on the closest bit of land. When we did find one, we began to cut down the tree. As misfortune follows me like a black cloud, it happened that the tree fell onto my legs, breaking one. The crew got some branches and tied up my leg I walked around like that for six months. One of my mates started calling me Peg Leg and it still sticks today.
After a while I was able to leave the ship as I pleased in port. I learned all I could about the care and keeping of a ship. At the age of thirty I happened to meet Captain Morgan Ramirez. I jumped ship and joined her crew on the Sea Queen and am now a gunner’s mate.
