I enjoy riding motorcyles, been riding for about 20 years now. My last bike was a 600 Suzuki Katana.
The SCA, weapons training of any kind (archery, heavy weapons & fencing) ;-)
Illumination and Writing Fiction
Medieval history,Regency history, art history and garb. Art and expression are wonderful gifts! I enjoy learning from poeple who are passionate about what they teach, and take great pleasure in pursuing my own creative interests.
I love being outdoors, in the mountains or hiking/trekking, tennis, camping and dog sledding.
Music
I grew up listening to and loving: hard rock, alternative rock, hair metal and heavy metal. I have developed a great passion for classical music in the last few years and found that is has transformed my reason for how i live.>

Movies
Anything period or medieval: LOTR, Excalibur, Elizabeth, Braveheart, Troy, etc......any Regency period film all things(Jane Austen), comedies and of course anything with a snowdog. Movies are a form of art and I enjoy any movie or docudrama that inspires or amuses.
Television
If im not watching some sort of period film, then either the history channle or LOST! However, I do like to watch sports.
Andriy Voronin (Ukrain)in the World Cup, but now plays for Liverpool, ..... HOT!Books
Writing and Books have now come to shape how i live each day. Veracious reader...... fantasy/sci-fi/,classics and much much more.... (Beowulf, Tolkien, Robert Jorden, Marion Zimmer Bradley, etc.). I also enjoy all things Jane Austen, V.Woolf. Books about animals and anything to do with medieval times and pretty much anything I can get my hands on. Ok, I'm a book junkie........yes, a bibliophile and now i write.

About me:
I grew up in Northern California and have been living in Florida for the last 13 years and now have set out on a Travel Adventure. I'm a Emergency Room/Trauma travel nurse and snow dog/Alaskan Malamute/animal rescue enthusiast. The animals that are in my life now, and those that have come and gone, are the children I choose for now.
My HOPE is to be traveling for the next few years, I plan to do some extensive traveling here in the US, and hopefully UK,Ireland, and the Scottish Highlands ;-) other parts of Europe. I plan to go to New Zealand sometime by the end of the year and where ever else my feet and might will take me once i walk outside that door.

That Little Penny In The Parking Lot
Remember this every time you pass that little penny in the parking lot.
I always thought that it was for good luck, but I love this version better.
I found a penny today
Laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny,
This little coin I've found.
Found pennies come from heaven,
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels toss them down.
Oh, how I loved that story.
He said when an Angel misses you,
They toss a penny down;
Sometimes just to cheer you up,
To make a smile out of your frown.
