Local Color is a regional music program featuring musicians and bands from Western NC, the upstate of SC, east Tennessee, and the Charlotte, NC area. Each week we do a pre-recorded interview with an artist or band, as well as a new album spotlight, in which we focus on up to 3 tracks from a new or recent release from an area musician. The show has a heavy focus on roots music, blues, folk, alt-country, but other styles are sometimes showcased.
