LOCAL EXPRESSIONS bildades i Nyk..ping, S..dermanland, Vintern 2003. Gruppen best..r av fyra medlemmar: Producent/DJ Shurecut och rap/textskrivarna Nameless, Shaati och Mr. Sneaky. 2005 spelade dom in sin f..rsta demo, "First Expression", som best..r av 7 sp..r och ett intro. Sp..ren p.. skivan ..r influerade av bl.a artister som Jurassic 5, Cunninlynguists, Dilated peoples, Gangstarr, Atmosphere och Brother Ali. Local Expressions har nu skaffat sig nya influenser i samband med samproduktioner med v..nnerna i reggaebandet Skank The Bones (ocks.. dom fr..n Nyk..ping). Den nya hemstudion inneb..r helt nya m..jligheter f..r att spela in l..tar och en demo p.. svenska ..r p.. g..ng. Tanken ..r ..ven att ha liveband p.. sina framtida framtr..danden. Just nu planeras ett samarbete med ett par medlemmar fr..n Skank The Bones, banden kommer d.. gemensamt g.. under namnet Nice Vibes och spela en blandning av reggae/ragga och hiphop. "Reg-hop". The group contains (4) members: Producer/DJ Shurcut and vocals/lyrics Nameless Shaat-i and MR.Sneaky. In 2005 we recorded a demo named "First expression". It has 7 tracks n a intro. The tracks on that demo is inspired by artists like Jurassic 5, Cunninglynguists, Dilated peoples, Gangstarr, Atmosphere and Brother Ali.but it doese´t mean we sounded like´em. Local Expressions have come across new influences in relations with a project (Nice Vibes) with our freinds Skank the bones (a reggaeband from Nyk..ping). But that project is in quarantine cuss of Mr.Sneaky gwaan to Austria. And one of Skanks leadsingers gwaan solo (Kungtunggung). Now we have a own homestudio which means new possibilities to record songs, and we are now workin on a netplay/demo and are hopefully released before 19 feb. So be vigilant. Other producers that are working with us is Addsoul,Beatmarks and Auro. We are doing music that sounds like Hip-hop/Reg-hop. And a homepage is under constuction by Moskito.
