Since 2004 „Local Radio“ is setting new standards in independent radio. Every Tuesday we air our diversified program for two hours at “Radio Weser TV” out of their HF3 studio which is anything but mainstream. In addition we present our bi-monthly “Rocknight” during which we transmit four hours of old, new and extraordinary live music.
Our live studio-guests from all over Germany are always happy to present their songs “unplugged”. Repetitive pop and rich in cultural content rap outbursts we promise you will not have to endure in our show. We focus on “hand-made” music such as rock, hard-rock, metal, blues, reggae and the like.
We certainly play known bands as well – Local Radio is famous for its specials, long versions and rarities – we have made it our business however to present as yet unknown gems of the music scene to the general public.
For two years now, Local Radio offers regularly additional live shows. Established local musicians encounter newcomers and bands of the region are competing with acts of all Germany – we guarantee great fun and diversified high quality rock! Apart from this concert series, which has become quite popular and known as “Local Radio’s Rocking Safari” we organize regular rock specials in and around Bremen. Here we also offer ample promotion opportunities. If you are a solo performer or play in a band, here you may introduce yourselves to our web-guests, announce upcoming concert dates and present your latest new songs. Seit 2004 setzt "Local Radio" in Bremen neue Maßstäbe im Independent-Radio. Aus dem Studio HF3 des "Radio Weser.TV" senden wir jeden Dienstag zwei Stunden unseres abwechslungsreichen Programms, weit abseits des Mainstream. Zusätzlich veranstalten wir alle 2 Monate die "Rocknight", in der wir vier Stunden lang Altes, Neues und Außergewöhnliches live aus unserem Studio übertragen.
Unsere Live-Studiogäste kommen aus ganz Deutschland und sind immer wieder gerne breit, ihre Songs unplugged vorzustellen. Immer wiederkehrende Popsongs und „kulturell gehaltvolle“ Rap-Ausbrüche musst Du bei uns nicht über Dich ergehen lassen. Wir konzentrieren uns auf die handgemachte Musik: Rock, Hardrock, Metal, Gothik, Blues, Raggae und "Artverwandtes".
Natürlich werden bekannte Bands gespielt - Local Radio ist bekannt für seine Specials, Long Versions und Raritäten - wir haben es uns aber auch zur Aufgabe gemacht, bisher unentdeckte Perlen der Musikszene einem größeren Publikum zu präsentieren.
Seit nunmehr zwei Jahren veranstaltet Local Radio zusätzlich regelmäßige Live-Shows. Etablierte Lokalmatadoren treffen auf frische Newcomer, Bands aus der Region messen sich mit Acts aus ganz Deutschland - dabei sind gute Laune und abwechslungsreiche, hochklassige Rockmusik garantiert. Neben dieser Konzertreihe, die unter dem Namen "Local Radio's Rocking Safari" bereits einige Anhänger gefunden hat, organisieren wir regelmäßig Specials in und um Bremen.
