Working to promote the state of South Carolina by helping our artists be heard.
South Carolina has a new venue for Local artists to be heard. www.Radio.sc ..has launched several on-line radio stations featuring only local artists. Unlike other sites that make you pay fees to get your songs heard, all you have to do is send us your tracks and if we think you are good enough to represent SC, we will put you in the rotation. (We may have to be convinced by your fans from time to time. If they scream loud enough we will play it. Band merchandise is also graciously accepted, lol!) We have launched several genres so that all music styles can be represented. Each week we will feature an up and coming local artist and at the end of the year, we will give an award for the most requested act. www.Radio.sc is well known for it on-line radio stations that play popular music of all genres. Shoot us a message if you want to be included in our playlists. All we ask is that you have original songs that you have full rights to authorize to be played. If you're a local business, venue or charity with an upcoming event or just wanting to start a live music night, contact us and we'll get the word out to help you schedule shows!
Check out Radio.SC's Contests!

I know this is a lot to ask from you as my friend but, I would like to ask all my friends and their friends to ask all their friends to add us as a friend.
My thinking is that as many we all can do more. Our food program is in need of a tractor and our country has many Hungry Americans. When they are more of us doing a little... there is LOTS we can do to Help Our Fellow Americans. Besides... it could be one of us next to have to deal with Hunger! When many do a little... there's not such a burden on just a few.
Could you help us in getting the word out to all your friends and Help Us Help Feed the Hungry Americans in Need? Ask them to visit our MySpace page to view our information provided and choose for themselves if they would like to add us.
Thank You in Advance for Your Support and Your Valuable time!
Sincerely,
Jim Bonham

I am now writing for a unbiased music magazine that has print distribution throughout the southeast. This is something that is bringing some of my strongest passions together. The articles I write are going to be very personal in all aspects. I am also posting these articles in my blogs and am coordinating with some pretty rad photographers.

The 2nd Annual Sameer Rateb Memorial Benefit:
6/13/2009 8:00 PM at The Oasis
Folly Road, James Island, South Carolina
Cost: 8 bucks over 21 10 under
Two Steps Back, Red Skies Ahead, Penalty Box, 25 Ta Life, A Minor Mistake, Path Of Reprisal, Sunday Melee. Proceeds go to the USO’s Operation USO Care Package... Let’s show the troops some punk/hardcore love!!!
If you're a local promoter or in a local band it would be a real help for you guys to spread the word and possibly to make an appearance. Let's show the world Charleston Hardcore cares about the world...
Background Info: Sameer formed Two Steps Back with Ian and Matt like 8-10 years ago (thanks to prodding from Megan Bowen and Rick from 25 Ta Life). They played together for a few years and then 9/11 happened, Sam went up to live in Jersey and was so moved by what he saw at ground Zero he went to go fight in the war on Terror. He was a sgt. in the army, and we lost him in Iraq. We do something in his name every year, and this year we're doing another benefit show. we send the majority of the money to the USO's Operation USO Care package program (they send stuff to our brothers and sisters serving overseas) Please help us however you can, and let's shoot for a great turnout, and a bigger check than last year. Thanks for your time

If you can't make the show you could always send whatever you can to the USO, just make sure to include Sam's name.
