Currently, I'm the chief sound engineer for The 5040 - the hottest new venue for local artists in the Hampton Roads, VA area. I am also the owner of Nahrwold Internet Design, a web site design firm focused on making the web usable for everyone.
In July, I will be getting married to the most beautiful, talented, and supportive woman I've ever met. Whether it's in business, ministry or personally, she's always there when I need here. Monique, I love you, and know that this just the beginning of a long and interresting journey that we'll be walking together.

I love listening to the latest Christian music out there! I esecially enjoy hearing the raw, pure praise, worship, and emotion of the new artists that are just starting.
You're starting to write your own stuff. You've made the commitment to take your music to a new level. You're big enough to start playing outside of your garage or your church, but still small enough that you don't have a big label decide which music people should hear.
That's the music I want to hear, and I believe that once America gets the chance to hear it, they'll love it, too.
The United States of America: A proud country, a diverse people. It's time to put God back in our everyday routine. We're going to take it back, starting with the music people listen to. We're turning it into a Local Nation.

In the past, unsigned Christian artists have always been thought of as "Local"... their music not quite as good, requests to local radio brushed off as family and friends - not true fans.
With the power of the Internet, the time has come for all of that to change. It's time for one unifying force to truely showcase these "Local" artists and let their message be heard all across this Local Nation.
