Diego Locatelli varies his beats between
Electro and Prog. His first contact with
electronic music was in a Rock band that
also mixed Break, Drum&Bass and Electro
in their performance. He works currently
with production of electronic music
and as a VJ in parties, synchronizing
his live PA with live images set.
With a solid Rock influence, he likes
to insert vocal interferences and organic
instruments in his live PA, “humanizing”
a bit the work that is done with
laptops, synths and MIDI controllers.
F.U.E.L
Party and fun. Those two words for sure define the style of
the friends and producers Diego Locatelli and Vitor Mello
who intend to re-invent the electronic music scene with the project FUEL.
Without cliches the duo makes their own music
and remixes with dancey songs from
artists like Jay Z, Spank Rock, Fergie and Madonna, always
trying to make the floor on fire wherever they go.
During the production, Diego Locatelli and
Vitor Mello look for electro influences that vary to
the maximal, using the noise style and energetic
beats so no one will stand still. Good music lovers, the duo
gets their inspiration from the experient MSTRKRFT,
Teenage Bag Girl, Digitalism, LA Riots,
The Prodigy, Daft Punk, among other styles.
Fun in definitely the priority of this duo that
never ceases to say "All I do is party".
