Following yet another temporary breakup in the early '90s, the members of the eternally volatile Killing Joke re-formed (minus vocalist Jaz Coleman) under the Murder Inc. banner. Including Revolting Cocks vocalist Chris Connelly, guitarist Geordie Walker, bassist Paul Raven, and drummers Paul Ferguson and Martin Atkins (ex-PiL), the band conspired to record 1992's eponymous LP for independent Invisible Records. Despite mixed response from critics and fans over the group's avant-garde alt-rock, a short bout of touring encouraged the band to carry on long enough to record the following year's Corpuscle EP. But Murder Inc. disintegrated as soon as a financially enticing recording contract for a newly re-formed Killing Joke hit the negotiating table, and 1999's Locate Subvert Terminate: The Complete Murder Inc. collection would serve as last will and testament to the band's brief existence. -AMG

The 2009 Batcave will feature installations from exciting new artists of the ‘Dark London Underground’ and visuals from the upcoming ‘Welcome To The Batcave’ book, along with this year’s bitcrushed message from the creature in t
