This is the original profile (By Lock And Load Film Group) where they submit projects while attending school and other content not deemed worthy for the masses. This group was created among family members to share the soulful, and traditional side of them. Enjoy!
James Moore was born in Madisonville, TX. He, along with his four siblings, was raised by their hard working mom. Being the fifth and youngest child, James learned and was taught about life at a young age; making him to become different from most of his peers. He would come up with crazy and creative ideas in a matter of seconds, to keep his family occupied in case anything would go wrong. His grandmother, Margaret Moore, who had twelve hard working children of her own, was a well known woman, who played a major role in the life of James Moore, along with his mother.
In 2005, James mom bought him a Sony HC20 camera, and at that moment, his life began to change forever. During this same year, James lost his grandmother. Due to her death, he felt the need to look after his family. At her funeral, James was told by another family member to record it, which was a big challenge for a seventeen year old, even though it paid off. Months before his seventeenth birthday and his grandmother’s death, sixteen year old James filmed one of his brother’s birthday celebration, which really gave him a “knack” for filming. He taught himself how to “explore” his skills. In 2006, along with family members and friends, James began to make short films. His first project was filmed at his high school senior prom; which is predicted to be a future classic. At the age of nineteen, James, also known as “J-Moe”, would already begin on what is to be one of the most recognized young protégé minds of the 21st Century. Mr. Moore soon developed a “knack” for directing videos for local rappers, as well as for helping the homeless and local neighborhoods with uprising problems. His first project with the community was called, “Are You Down To Ride?” which is now a remake.
James Moore’s reluctance towards finding a job is because he’d rather be “the Boss, the Entrepreneur, the President, the CEO, and the Sole Proprietor” of his own creation. With the support of his family, he was able to see that “entrepreneurship” within himself. It is his early training that would later pay off in his career. “I’m always looking for a way for things to be simplified, made more efficient, or automated by a computer. There’s a reason why I have a vision in my life-and it’s for the same reason that I don’t want to have to answer to someone else’s answers,” says James. “He formed and created Lock And Load Film Group. This group is originally based on his family tree. During the early stages of the L.A.L.F.G., there was a great need for sponsorship. James would call a local news station to help support the newly found group, but the name itself scared them, whereas the sponsorship that was needed did not come through. Other local news station would ask the young protégé, “What does Lock and Load Film Group means?” James’ response to the question would be, “Loyalty, ambition, life, family, and goals, which is a big responsibility. You would think of something negative about the name. The name is to catch your eyes, and then on the other hand, it defines something unique and positive.” Over the years, other family members and fans of Mr. Moore’s work started tuning into his website, as he managed the time to keep them updated with the site and the videos. The site has had over 240,000 hits and could be found at www.lockandloadfilmgroup.com.
When the time comes to make his first feature film with well known artists, directors, and creators, producers, and actors, the question will be asked, “Who is James Moore?” Redefinition describes him. He can and will be known as the “Next biggest thing that can not and will not be predicted”. Mr. Moore feels and believes that when you ask the questions of “Who and what do you call an Entrepreneur, a Humanitarian, and a Filmmaker?” The only people that come to his mind are Spike Lee, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Russell Simmons, Oprah Winfrey, and Danny Glover, to name a few.
With a promising future and a career with his DVD collection, J-Moe has already broken past many stereotypical mindsets and barriers. Having close to 100 up-to-date projects he has directed for free, to choose from and to continue to further his filming reel, James Moore is considered to be a “mastermind” at what he does. He is James Moore, and he is yet to be stopped, and he will not stop!
James wants to spend his time directing music videos and helping people out with their issues by creating educational videos, articles, and blogs; utilizing his skills speaking through videos to stop the violence. If you want to support James in his mission to help people live up to their true potential, please make a contribution. Any amount is appreciated.
