{LOCKDOWN is a Joliet-based hard rock/heavy metal band. Our play-list is filled with tried-and true hits that may be heard at any given time on classic rock stations or even more likely on satellite radio, such as Hair Nation or BuzzSaw. Also in the mix are other underplayed (but great!) songs that any fan of music from that era will enjoy. The original members have been performing together for years. In late 2007, the group asked the former guitarist and former bassist of local favorites Insultans and Spank to replace departing members. More recently the drummer from Back-in-Stride was asked to fill in during the band's original drummer’s departure for tour of duty in Iraq. With this solidified line-up, LOCKDOWN is ready to deliver a professional, highly energized and entertaining show at a venue near you! 2008 included performances at The Taste of Joliet, The Taste of Chicago, and Crestwood Fest. Beginning in January 2009 one of the band’s goals is to further strengthen and expand the loyal fan-base by performing at select local establishments..............................................................................}
