Influences
Everyone I listen to is an influence...Tool, Staind, Pearl Jam, Sunny Day Real Estate, Pink Floyd, Braking Benjamin, Blue October, Cold, NIN, a Perfect Circle, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Muse, Aero Smith, R.E.M., Blind the Fold, HE|IS|US, Radiohead and Modest Mouse, Just to name a few......Anyone with something intelligent and constructive to say.
The concept and project of Locked in a Box came about in 2002. The founding artist Jonathan Judd has written, composed, sung, and played alternative music since 1995. What is the concept behind Locked in a box? Well to start, it's being aware of the walls of reality. And the many sides of perception. L.I.A.B. is only in it's early stages of progression. Join the life long journey of exploration. Emotion, realization, and growth.
The current sound is something in the neighborhood of Staind, but wants to achieve a Tool/Pink Floyd mix. However Locked in a box will never try to sound like a specific band. Only to be true in purpose, and to create a new sound that both the artist and the world crave. Being passionate and real. Thanks to Ozzy E., Nick Olsen, Jonathan Taylor, Jon Hansen, Jeff Muir, Josh B., Mike L., Greg Norrell, Jimmy Carpy, and the list goes on.
