Unfortunately, Nina is too drunk and lovesick to properly care for the infant, but she teaches her the basics, and really, what more do you need to know? Locket bounced around foster homes on the upper east side of Manhattan, got toned at a pilates studio in brooklyn, and now specializes in the widest variety of bird song mimicry this side of the Hudson.
Locket is a result of a multi-national effort, which began when the twins Hans and Carolyn were sent as the gift of an emissary from the Germanic Heritage Foundation and delivered to MG and NKR, representatives of the Italian/Jewish New York Cultural Council of Greater NYC, in an effort to smooth things over.
It was thought that interaction on as abstract a level of musical composition and performance would heal some of the traumatic lesions of historic violence.
The resulting music characterizes some of that violence at the same time as it diffuses it in our collective, social reality.

Marie owns and operates Heart and Soul Pilates in Williamsburg, with her sister, Lora.
