Lead Vocal- Hal Jarvis has had plenty of experience playing stadiums in the 80's and 90's as a lead vocalist for professional rock bands on the East coast. He has shared the stage with acts like Helix, L.A. Guns, Joan Jett, and Zebra; just to name a few. His writing style has changed over the years from kick-ass Rock n' Roll to writing music a bit closer to his heart, but hard rock is still his passion and paying homage to Mr. Dio is an honor.
Guitar- Already seasoned from his brothers’ early influences of hard rock, Paul Reynolds first approached the guitar at age 13 and immediately began unleashing a whirlwind of demons throughout his home town of Agawam Massachusetts. From his early years of playing heavy metal to winning awards at college for classical guitar performance and now studying jazz and music production with Berklee School of Music, Paul has always embraced a love for the guitar in all musical genres. In pursuing his love for pure, natural tone, Paul has spent the last decade studying fingerstyle acoustic guitar and has performed at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival and the Schoenberg guitar boutique in Tiburon California. But after being summoned to help Lock up the Wolves by his long time ally Hal Jarvis, Paul has decided to answer his call for duty, pick up his electric guitar and unleash his fury back into the metal arena.
Bass- Trey Xavier enjoys 7-11 burritos, slapping it on the card, and In-N-Out calzones. He also has a pretty cool beard.
Guitar- Matt Solis, a young veteran of the Sonoma County music scene, has performed extensively with bands Shitstorm, In Virtue, and Flatline throughout the West Coast. He has also contributed to various recording projects (Ethiopian Buffet, Trigurgitated) featuring members of Ancient at Birth and Sarcoma. Now, in 2007, the majesty of Dio calls. Bringing an aggressive mentality and sound technicality to the position of rhythm guitar, Matt is determined to bring Lock up the Wolves to the hungry, Dio-starved masses of Northern California.
Drums- Scott Taylor has been playing music since he was eight, starting out on Saxophone and switching to drums at fourteen. He has played on numerous bands demos, as well as paid recording sessions. Scott has performed at hundreds of venues and has made music his life. The love of music and the love of performing well to an appreciative audience are what drives him.
He plays with an infectious enthusiasm for the song and the beat. He plays for the song with dynamic sensitivity, power, confidence and authority and knows how to drive a band and make it feel good. He has extensive experience writing drum parts for and arranging and recording original material. Scott reads drum charts, understand theory, plays guitar and plays all drumming styles and has over twenty years of playing experience; both live and in the studio (mostly live).
