Heroes
Julius Nyerere: Prime Minister of Tanzania from 1961 to 1986. He had been a school teacher when Tanzania gained its independence. During his entire term as PM, he continued to live in his school teacher's house, draw his school teacher's salary and take public transportation to work. There was no palace, no millions stuffed away in Swiss bank accounts and not even any bodyguards. As his 25th year in office approached, he went on TV and told his people that it was politically unhealthy for one person to rule for so long and that they needed to find a replacement for him. In spite of being universally urged to remain in office, he stuck to his decision and retired to his home village.
About me: I think the information at the left pretty much says it all.
I found my myspace layout here
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet people who are interested in studying the music of Carlos Santana and Bob Marley, particularly the bass lines.
I'm also interested in meeting people who are interested in the the neuroanatomical and endocrine substrates of human psychology.
For a brief period, it was only possible to see the first page of the blog if you were not one of my Friends. However, it's now possible to see the whole thing. Just click on the link.
Veja Entrevista que dei para o Programa “Repertório Independente”, onde eu falo de minha carreira, minha história e apesar de estar bastante gripado, ainda canto algumas canções.

Come join the celebration over the release of our new CD – Boteco!!
‘Boteco’ is an artful mixture of neo-futuristic traditional Brazilian rhythms with the right quantity of the best North American spices. It is funk and rock boiling and baking with samba, maracatu, frevo and baiao.
Put Pele and Mohammed Ali in a fictional mix machine. Now add Frank Zappa, Sergio Mendes, Tom Jobim and Roger Waters and fused in to one. What a mix eh? Bat Makumba is this fusion, multiplied by 2.
