I am an old boy now, but I still have (to slightly misquote the Muppets) "A room for life in the home for the incurably groovy". I ran clubs and parties in Coventry from 1972 to 1996. I was the most consistently successful club runner in the city during that time, no contest. I dj from time to time and possibly have the biggest collection of vinyl, cds and mp3s on planet earth. I am a rubbish technical dj and tend to (in the jamaican parlance)take the role of the Selecta. I was dragged kicking out of retirement in 2007 (blame Melv and add him as your friend).

Yes YES YES!
Music
I have a catholic taste in music. As Mike Pickering (and probably a thousand people before him said),there are only two types of music good and bad.I'm into the former, although a large number of people will no doubt disagree with me.

How did Peter Tosh turn into this?
REMEMBER GHOST TOWN WAS NOT WRITTEN ABOUT COVENTRY!
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone local to Coventry or wider afield who has an affiliation to the city. No nutters, I know too many already.
This site was set up for publicising anything I am trying to do in Coventry.
I run SnDnRnR with my mate Melv for fun not money. We are an equal opportunities organisation that does not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, age, sexuality or choice of dress. SnDnRnR does not tolerate facists,or (joke)Aston Villa fans.
We aim to be carbon neutral, but are finding it hard to plant enough trees!
If you are a porn star, a random people collector, an image swopper,or a non-local band, please go to SnDnRnR and I will be happy to add you there. I read all profiles, listen to all music and am staggered at the brilliance, humour and diversity out there.
Ghosttown Promotions & Tin Angel Records Presents...
This Thursday 18th September BLACK CARROT: Exclusive Album Launch Support from DEAD COWBOY CULTURE @ The Tin Angel Record Shop, Spon Street CV1 3AX Doors 8pm ~ late
Black Carrot (Market Harborough) are a vibrant quintet who perform new-wave krautrock jazz madness that oozes rock with a psychotic edge. Fierce and abstract yet serving the concept of the song, their unique sound nods towards Beefheart and Pere Ubu but is shot through with flavours of New York jazz skronk, and the loosest, funkiest Krautrock.
"Black Carrot are truly inspired musicians" - Jean Hervé Peron/Faust Black Carrot release their second studio album "Drink The Black Forest" on Tin Angel Records on 3rd November 2008. To support the release initially they will be playing UK tour support for Baby Dee throughout late November early December in addition to their own headline shows in the Midlands and London.

'Wire' glamrock photograph? You could retire on the kiss 'n' tell proceeds!! Deaf School? Best band of the early-ish 70's. Way ahead of their time!! Dave Pepper? We still love each other and I'm jealous coz he has the life of Riley. Nice bloke even though he is now an honorary American. The child in him still misses the snow apparently. Good fortune. Gray Summers.
