Lofi began in 2002 and is now on to its third school of DJs, who begin in September 2009. We are a fortnightly club night at Exeter Cavern and play the likes of Foals, Justice, Bloc Party, Arcade Fire, Soulwax, Cribs, Joy Division, Tiga, Daft Punk, Crookers, LCD Soundsystem, M.I.A., Dizzee Rascal, Yo La Tengo, Peaches, De La Soul, SebastiAn, Uffie, Los Campesinos!, Johnny Foreigner, Franz Ferdinand, The Duke Spirit, Le Tigre, Hot Chip, The Rapture, Glenn Miller, CSS, Bonde Do Role, Metronomy, The Smiths, Mystery Jets, Gary Numan, Sinden, Talking Heads, Gossip, Klaxons, The YYYs, Iggy and the Stooges, Aphex Twin, Radiohead, Boys Noize, Depeche Mode, Blondie, The Cure, The Wombats, The Beatles, Modest Mouse, New Order, David Bowie and many, many more. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Watch out for specials such as pop-punk hour. There's always a surprise in store.

3 - We bounce from the gratifyingly recognisable to the toe-tapping fringes of indie and electro music. You'll never hear two nights the same, and hopefully you'll hear something new and exciting every time.
4 - We try and make it a proper party every Lofi, with lots of promotion to ensure a packed dancefloor, proper mixing, free sweets, guest DJs, competitions and lots of surprises at every turn!
5 - Drinks - only £2.50 double vodka/whisky/martini, only £1.70 bottle of Carlsberg. Thanks to the Cavern. Which, for those who don't already know, is world famous for its continuous stream of great bands, its amazing atmosphere and superb sound system.
