Lo-Fi Man is a 3 piece rock band formed in LA in April 2006. The 3 members include Curtis Shane Rogers, John King, and Greg Rushin. John and Shane, both born in Athens Ga. became roommates in LA in 2000 realizing later they had met once in Ga. After working on different projects over the first few years, they began writing riffs together and eventually met Greg Rushin in April 06. Greg having grown up in Yuma, AZ. moved to Silverlake, CA. at the age of 17, and has played in many bands over the years. Eventually coming up with the name Lo-Fi Man, the three had there first gig at the Rainbow Room on the Sunset strip in Hollywood, and since have played gigs around the LA area at great venues such as Mr.Ts Bowl , knitting factory, the scene, the good hurt, the airliner, and in San Francisco at Maggie McGarrys and many more to come . This is just the beginning.

It doesn't hurt that this is by far Leila's most powerful set of songs to date, and if anything we are lead even deeper into her world by the pictures painted with just piano (or in some cases harpsichord or a grime-encrusted electric piano) and that voice...
Capable of anything from delicate heartbreaking purity to a fearsome dramatic power, her powers are seemingly limitless, yet unlike most other singers of her calibre, never does she resort to melodrama or show-boating, or any kind of pastiche, instead she employs her resources fully in the expression of her distinctive musical vision and the deep well-spring of her imagination.
