Lofi Studios is Scotland’s no.1 recording & rehearsal complex. Part of the historic Merchant’s House building, we are situated on the west side of George Square in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.
We currently have 9 professionally soundproofed & acoustically treated rehearsal rooms, all with top of the range gear, including Marshall, Ampeg, Orange, Vox, Ashdown, Line 6, Sound City, Roland, Tama and Pearl. Our day lit recording studio boasts the latest, state of the art equipment, a spacious control room, 2 large, acoustically treated adjacent live rooms, and 2 isolation booths. All recording and rehearsal facilities are fully air conditioned with comfortable seating and wooden floors throughout.
Live PZM to CD recording facilities are supplied, free of charge, in every rehearsal room. Spacious storage lockers are free to block bookers, and free broadband wifi internet access is available via our computer stations or personal laptops. A TV lounge is provided with drinks and snacks vending, and instrument hire and accessory sales are available from the front desk. Rehearsal prices start at £17, and digital recording prices start at £80, engineer included (see below for a full list of prices). We also have our own team of accredited musical instrument tutors, along with an in-house guitar repair service.
Open 7 days a week from 12pm - 12am (except Saturdays, 12pm - 9pm) for rehearsals, and 9am onwards for recording. Opposite shops, pubs, restaurants, fast food outlets, and hotels, with main bus, rail and subway links just minutes away.
