Loftbeat are a 4 piece band from Cheltenham who formed at the end of August in 2009. They are a Rock/Britpop/Alternative band who like to add an occasional twist of ska and reggae in their music.
Loftbeat are in it to bring back the legendry styles of The Beatles, The Smiths and The Clash whilst mixing it with the more recent sounds of Oasis, The Libertines and The Arctic Monkeys, making a truely great sound.
Loftbeat's main aims are to become a great band. They hope to successfully rekindle the true spirit of Rock N Roll. They wish to bring it back using their own fresh and inventive music.
Loftbeat produce their own music and are recording full, good quality tracks within the next month.
They are working on recording 3 songs (Loft Culture, Unforgotten and Funk Song) to get on the player and the first steps towards a great CD.
They are looking forward to playing many gigs in the future which will give them the confidence and experience needed to become a true Alternative Rock band

The bands looking cool! We're in the studio this month recording our E.P (Never Part of The Plan) so dont forget to keep checking out our myspace towards the end of December/the new year.
its just a small indie label. puts stuff out on ITunes and all download sites plus runs off about a 1000 cds for sale at gigs and stuff. It all helps though! cant give up the day job just yet though!!
