The Loft Youth Venue is a safe drug and alcohol free space , funded by Newcastle City Council.
We provide arts , cultural & recreational activities + resources for people aged 12-25 in the Newcastle Area.
We run regular all-ages gigs & have a music events committee.
We have - A main auditorium available for hire for gigs & events ;
rehearsal spaces & digital music production facilities ;
an art studio ; broadband internet lab; pool table & Table tennis;
Playstation console ; meeting spaces & we run stacks of interesting
youth arts projects.
The Loft can assist you with : seeking funding for arts projects & events;
event management & consultation for all-ages music events;
providing skilled facillitators to run workshops & activities across
a wide variety of artforms.

The future of The Loft now seems unpredictable… depends on how the Councillors vote this Thursday, June 25. This is our final chance to make a difference.
Come to the protest this Thursday June 25, gather from 5pm @ Civic Park. If you don’t wish to attend the protest, come to the Council meeting at 6.30pm (It was previously 4.45pm than 5.30pm meeting, but the time changed).
AND
Write these 3 Councillors heartfelt emails. Please don’t be rude or violent.
