"Logan" is a feature length fan-film about the Marvel charactor Wolverine (Joshua Duke). This is not to be your ordinary, run-of-the-mill fan film. You will not find any corny, 20 minute, action-esque movie here. But you will find gritty realism, inner dialogues, unrequited love, self destructive behavior, and when the action does kick in.. it's brutal. "Logan" is to be a full length, dramatic adventure that truly takes you into the depths of Wolverine.

This is a passion project. And it's going to be like no other.

We're going in an entirely new direction with the Wolverine character. That is, at least as far as fanfilms are concerned. While most fan fueled interpretation of Wolverine/Logan are very action-based, our hope is that after watching our film it will have been as insightful as it was fun. If you aren't very familiar with the Logan character, you will surely get to know him in our rendition. True comic fans know, there is so much more to him than you ever get to see on screen.. even in the Hollywood versions. We are exploring every depth of this charactor, and we are bringing you one of many stories left untold.

Our aim is to take Logan out of the action-genre-exclusive world and transplant him into a drama. Not that this movie will be without it's asskicking moments, but those scenarios will be comparably gritty and realistic. This is our attempt at a comic fanfilm with a deeper meaning. And yes, we are hoping this might start a trend. Maybe one day a comic film will actually win a Best Picture Oscar. Why not?

So most of you are familiar with Logan the hero, or Logan the anti-hero; Logan the renegade, Logan the animal, Logan the X-Man... We're going to show you Logan the man.

Written by Joshua Duke and CadaverJack, the movie is in the later stages of pre-production. Produced by a collaborative effort between Walter Tinsley's Deadland Productions and CadaverJack's own Nu Blood Productions, this movie is getting off the ground quickly. Despite that casting is yet to be fully completed, filming is aimed to begin during the fall.

This project is bound to alter the world of independantly made fan-films. Keep checking back for updates.
