What is a phalanx? I'm glad you asked. If you've seen the epic movie 300 you already know...
The phalanx is a rectangular mass military formation, usually composed entirely of heavy infantry armed with spears, pikes, or similar weapons. The troops were disciplined to hold a line which created a nearly impenetrable forest of points to the front.
I use the moniker Logic Phalanx to describe what some have called my impenetrable logic.
On Faith:
I want to know the truth! This is the attitude of faith. The great philosopher Alan Watts once said,
"Faith is a state of openness or trust. To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don't grab hold of the water, because if you do you will sink and drown. Instead you relax, and float. And the attitude of faith is the very opposite of clinging to belief, of holding on. In other words, a person who is fanatic in matters of religion, and clings to certain ideas about the nature of God and the Universe, becomes a person who has no faith at all. Instead they are holding tight. But the attitude of faith is to let go, and become open to truth, whatever it might turn out to be."

This is the time of year that we need to stop what we are doing and help those that are
left alone for the Holidays, There are many suicides this time of year because
people are lonely, this is not right and we all know this {makes ya fell kinda
shitty huh?}, so I would like for you all to concentrate on someone you know
will be alone and do something about it! Its not hard to help someone in need,
you do it because you would want someone to do it for you! I also want to say
if someone does you a good deed try and do as many as you can so it starts a
ripple effect! I smile when I meet a cashier even if he/she is not happy and
not smiling, when you speak with them on a human level then it speaks volumes
about who you are and what your’re made of! I think maybe I should not babble
on but just remember we all are not really much different than each other, we laugh,
sing, love, dance, & share just like we are supposed to. We need to connect with each other a lot more
and show what we are made of!!!!!!!!!!
In The Tao’ Te Ching it is said,
I have just three things to teach:
Simplicity, patience, and compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and in thought You return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
You accord with the way things are.
Compassionate toward yourself,
You reconcile all beings in the world.
We carry with us the habits of a lifetime. We are not asked to
Unravel them all in one instant, but to care for and understand just one moment at a
Time; attuning ourselves to just this moment we begin to understand what leads
To distress, complexity, and conflict, and what leads to calmness, balance and freedom. Patience is the foundation of discovering simplicity. Patience is a gesture of profound
Kindness. Patience teaches us to seek an inner refuge of simplicity, balance, and sensitivity in even the most turbulent moments.
