I've been working on various electronica since 1993. I started out playing about with Octamed on an Amiga to write some music for a game I was writing. Played some music to my friends and they liked it so i've been working on new material on and off ever since.
Recently I've been working on techno tracks with break beats and low(ish) tempos. I also work on Jazzy Drum n' Bass tracks every once in a while.
I'm originally from Essex in the UK the home of Ram Records, Slammin' Vinyl (yeah I know Slammin' are cheezy) and loads of other influential record labels from the start of the 90's electronic music scene. I'm heavily influenced by the music I used to physically damage my ears with at raves like The Seduction Weekender, Moondance and Raindance.
Hey, hope all is well! Come by the page and check out my newest tunes "Midnight Rush" and "Gamer's Delight" recently added to the player when you get a chance.
"Midnight Rush" has a more Brookes Brothers/Futurebound vibe while "Gamer's Delight" is just full-blown dirty analog bliss. Leave some love if you like what you hear, it's always appreciated. Big up!
Uploaded an old track which goes down quite nicely with a helping of "On The Sofa" it's just a shame myspace's compression kills it, if you like it goto my website www.9barrecordings.com for a much clearer version.
The piano started out as "Wide ST Piano" from the EXB-PCM01 Korg expansion board. The standard patch is a little too bright for my tastes so I low pass filtered it a bit and added some light chorus to make it even wider along with some light reverb to give it some depth.
What's up Stew! Did Nick talk you into this?
On the sofa is extremely relaxing. That piano playing/sound is killin' the game. If you did that on the Triton, you have to tell me what you did, cause the stock piano sounds don't sound like that at all.
