Born in Toronto Canada, Logikal Ethix began writing rhymes/poetry at the age of 15, as means of dealing with the oppressive/social conditions of the world in which we live in. Gaining the attention of flow 93.5 Trauma unit host J-Wyze from wining "M Nourbese Philip" poetry award during Oakwood Collegiate's Black History Month Celebration (1999); Logikal recorded his first track with J-Wyze and his Lootus Mobb fam at Powers studio (of Master Plan Show) at the age of 17. To Logik music has always been a way to bring people closer together and to cope with the various pains and joys that life present. After building a solid reputation around Torontos Urban Music Scene and working with various community outreach events,programs and organizations like the 4UNITY Youth Media Association out in Parkdale(99-01), Logikal along with partner in rhyme Unknown Mizery founded Mutescreamz Mentaltainment in 2001, to provide a voice for the community through the expressive context of art and Hip-Hop culture. In 2004 Logikal founded the STOLEN FROM AFRICA Movement/CLOTHING as means to provide cultural and historical awareness through fashion. SFA T-shirts are a hot item through-out the streets Toronto, Montreal and Halifax and Vancouver. The Movement has gained Televised Media attention on MTV Canada and the support and recognition of Toronto Mayor David Miller; which has led them to conduct several high school assemblies/workshops across the GTA as well as working with the Toronto Youth Cabnet . Opening up for acts such as DEAD PREZ and K'NAAN Logik has always been a Lyricist to test his boundaries, experimenting with other genre of music and consistently reinventing himself with various forms of art such as Photography and Videography.In the mean time, Logik along with Unknown Mizery, are preparing to release their fallow up album to IT WILL FALL called "PLANTATION MUSIC"

THERE ARE MANY BENEFICIAL SKILLS NOT TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS, AT LEAST NOT IN PREDOMINANTLY AFRICAN AMERICAN SCHOOLS. BLACK CHILDREN ARE NOT TAUGHT ABOUT WRITING CHECKS AND FILLING OUT DEPOSIT SLIPS. UNLESS THEY MAJOR IN BUSINESS OR ACCOUNTING MANY GROW INTO ADULTS NEVER HAVING LEARNED ABOUT THE STOCK MARKET. THEY DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MONEY MARKETS AND MUTUAL FUNDS. MEANWHILE IN UPPER CLASS NIEGHBORHOODS, CHILDREN ARE LEARNING THESE THINGS. THE UNITED STATES WOULD RATHER BRING IN EDUCATED FOREIGNERS TO MEET THEIR NEEDS THAN EDUCATE THE AFRICAN AMERICANS WHO ARE ALREADY HERE. THEY UNDERSTAND THAT MOST FOREIGNERS WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT GRATITUDE FOR AMERICA. ON THE OTHER HAND, IF TOO MANY AFRICAN AMERICANS ARE EDUCATED AT ONE TIME, THE UNITED STATES WILL HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM ON THEIR HANDS.
