We finished up the church yesterday at about 4:00. Check the videos on the left to see what it looks like! Everyone was really working hard to get the rooms finished. We all had a great time and really enjoyed working with Poland Presbyterian Church to get the job done.

I am especially grateful for Bill Mick who devoted himself to the project so wholeheartedly. We wish you all the best Bill.

Well, the mission trip to John Knox church just ended...what an experience. I don't think I could eat another thing.

The painting and serving others was great too! I think that mission will always be an important part of LOGOS from now on. And that's a good thing.

Praise God! The project is complete. The fellowship hall is completely painted and cleaned including baseboards, floor, stage and rejuvenating all of the woodwork. The office is finished in a great two tone blue and all of the wood renewed. The hallway and narthex were also painted and cleaned. What a great project. The staff worked wholeheartedly as a team. We had a great time at John Knox and are very grateful for the partnership with Poland Pres. in this project. God is good.

It was a great and full day. The fellowship hall ceiling is almost done. The walls are more than half way done in a beautiful "creamy baked brie". The main office is complete in a wonderful two tone blue. It looks fantastic. The Poland prebyterian church made an outstanding dinner for us tonight. Plus we had an awesome hail storm. Tired and sore bodies are ready for bed. Only one more day on the ladders and scaffolding.
God has been really good and the team outstanding.

Day one was filled with prepping and priming. We are almost done with the prime coat and willbe painting tomorrow. The crew is working hard and giving it their very best Malachi style. Hope you watched the day one video and are looking at the photo albums. Had a great potluck dinner with the members of John Knox. Stay tune more to come.

Let me tell you, Greg's little white legs showing between the sox and shorts are going to be a show stopper on the streets of Youngstown.

The weather forecast for Youngstown looks great! I think it will be warm enough for me to take off my plaid sports coat. I will switch over to the madras bermuda shorts and black knee socks outfit...I just don't want to get paint on my wingtips.

We're ready to go! We've packed Greg up in the back and we'll meet the field staff soon.

This may be a little late at this point, but I hink I am allergic to paint...or is that to work.

Sorry, I am a little slow on the uptake. I just noticed that there appear to be some plans to spray "Goof Off" on me, or on my work. Wait just a minute...I may be a goof off, but I don't want it to become just another opportunity for a gratuitous product placement. I do have my standards.

It is TIME. We are ready! Godspeed to us all. Let's go paint. John Knox here we come!!!! Oh, Youngstown will never be the same.

A recent survey indicates that the LOGOS staff is planning to: (1) build relationships, (2) have fun, and (3) work hard painting while on the mission trip next week. Only one misguided soul planned to "kick butt" while on the trip...prayer and remedial interventions are being planned for him.
