About me:

It's official. Woman about the World is going home.

So here's the thing. I've put my 2009 list of New Year's Resolutions into a category called, Project 2009. Within this project are my goals to achieve this year, which will prepare me for the next chapter of my life.

I've put Project 2009 in motion by purchasing a ticket to return home to NYC after more than 7 years away. In the two years I've been abroad, I've seen and done a lot and am now anxious to get home on Jan. 20th.

For now, I'm bidding Europe adieu but not before returning to Stavanger for one last hurrah!

The Backstory

I'm a native New Yorker (big ups to the LES, Harlemworld and BK) who previously transplanted down south to work as a newspaper reporter. Since leaving NYC, I've lived in Miami, New Mexico, Nashville and Bham, Al. I love to travel and have been to 100 cities in ten countries. Some places I've been to: Hawaii, British Columbia, Toronto, Mexico, Norway, Paris, Cote d'Azur, Berlin, Frankfurt, Rome, Barcelona and Morocco.

In May 2007, I took off to travel western Europe for a year. As fate had it, I settled in Prague and stayed nearly two years.

FROM STAVANGER TO PRAHA WITH LOVE

If I come back, I plan to move back home to NYC - I've been gone too long. But keep in mind my plans often change, so don't hold me to it. I'm shopping my first novel, a thriller, so wish me luck in landing that all-important partner in crime--the agent. I'm smart with a quick wit, so if you're faint of heart and can't come with it, it's best to keep your distance. Remember though, it never comes from malice - it's all luv...
