hey... where's the other untitled track? ...i came here to listen to that one. this one is good, but i miss the other one!
and when's the closing party? it's sad that the richardson street loiter is going to be gone soon. :( ...but i'm sure what you've got lined-up will be great!
It's so nice out: why not take a walk to an orange box on a street corner near you and pick up the L's brand-new Summer Preview Issue? In it, you'll find: Our Outdoor Summer Preview, where we take you through all the things (Beach parties, Festivals, Street Art, Parades, Cookouts, Mermaids, Hot Dogs, Boat Rides, Butterflies, Baseball games, &c) that you have been saying for months that you'll do "in a few months, when it's nice out" ; our mammoth Summer Music Preview, which runs you through the indie superstars playing in Central Park, the South Street Seaport, Prospect Park, McCarren Park Pool, Castle Clinton, Coney Island and more; reviews (of a new book by Miranda July; a new movie by Lars von Trier, a new album by The National); and much more.
Thoughtful, intricate & gorgeouly swoony, sometimes driving, slightly twangy delicious pop. Loiter serves a bountiful feast of sounds to nourish the casual surface listener - but the tunes and their arrangements also appeal to and satisfy more adventurous musical appetites.
stopped by yr page... i can't stop playing 'untitled' (not to be confused with 'untitled 2' which is also a good track). i might just have to bribe you to do some remixes of my stuff! (i'm guessing bribing you w/ a couple of bad guitars would be out of the question, right? ...not that i'd schlep them out there again anyway). It was good to see you the other night.
we are looking forward to once again setting foot in Ellis' domain, gracing the loiter "stage" with some gold streets tunes, drinking lots of keg beer - should be a great night! see you tomorrow!
