About me: Live in Gainesville, FL, working at UF. Married, 2 cats, 2 dogs, blah blah getting old.
I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and moved to Broken Arrow, OK when I was 5. I grew up in BA/Tulsa and it's still 'home'. However, I'm glad I've moved on. Tulsa is way too conservative/homogeneous for me! I went to TU and met my future wife.
I went to North Carolina and became a huge Tar Heels fan. Worked for a year in Charlotte, NC, then finally got a (semi-) real job at the University of Florida. I've been in Gainesville for 4 years, and have grown to love it. Got married to my college sweetheart in July 2005, and we hope to stay here for a while (if tenure permits it).
Sports teams: Pro - Denver Broncos, Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs, St. Louis Cardinals, and (barely) LA Lakers. College - UNC, Univ. of Tulsa, Univ of Florida.
I enjoy catching up w/ old friends (e.g. Susan Kline tuned me into this site) so please write if we've crossed paths in life.
Other than the usual (go to work, work around the house, etc.) I've grown into a pretty boring day-to-day existence.
What I spend my free time on: running (road races), hockey , travel (2005 - Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, UK, Germany, France, Switzerland), poker, cooking (esp. smoked meats), movies, and games.
Also, I frequent Facebook much more often than this page. please either email me or drop by facebook to get in contact. I'm always excited to catch up on old times!
Who I'd like to meet: Jesus, Mohammed, and Abraham... then I'd ask them how far off kilter the current purveyors of their word are from their original intentions.
ohohh very nice! i appreciate you thinking of me. lol i could save loads of money!i should prolly get a hot topic account... hey! i havent talked to you or laura in a while... soo lemme tell ya... i got a cell phone! finally! i gotta pay for it, but its cool. and i have unlimited texting. =D do you guys have texting? we could totally text!
thx for the tip... my gamerscore just broke 3000 today after sitting just below it for a couple months. i dont see y we wouldnt come down for tgiving, but ill do my best to convince them if they see otherwise. i think france and italy r more known for wine than beer, and idk much about greece but ill see what i can find. im much better at guitar hero too, so u better start practicin... ttyl
Yeah, it was nice to hear the same people who were yelling "nice one against the Bruins" (all while celebrating their wins against Vandy and Central Michigan, I'm sure) sniffle their way out of the Rose Bowl. I'm not an Urban Meyer fan, but I would like for the nation to see how completely overrated the Big 10 is, so... I'm not sure yet - Lots of Trojan faithful pulling for the Gators though
how goes it? so I have to ask: how is being a tar heel in gator country when both teams are gonna be top 7 all year? who would you root for in a UNC-UF march matchup?
Not cool Ben, not cool. I'm going to go finish weeping *sniff*
On the upside, I don't have to pay an arm and a leg to go to the Rose Bowl, so... I guess we've got that going for us
Yeah i am done with Perfect Dark Zero. IM tryin to mail it back this weekend but u never no when it will happen at the rate my parents move. ill try and get it mailed before next weekend so u can get to beating it.
At least my picture isn't one of my animals, ya loser. I really think you have no room to criticize. And my page has pretty colors, yours, my friend does not.
