Now we come to the terribly exciting part of my profile(Seriously...go read a book or take a shower or something.I wont be upset...my feelings wont be hurt.)where I give laundry lists of things that I think are awesome.Are you tingling??? I know I am...hope that's not a stroke or something...moving on...I'm a big movie buff and...wait...they have a separate category for movies...dang...oh,music...I LOVE music...son of a...also covered somewhere else...now that I'm looking at this my actual interest is what genius at myspace thought this category was necessary...
Video Games!!! That's not covered somewhere else...I don't think...hold on...brb...ok,back...it is not in fact covered somewhere else...I've played video games since I was a wee little tot...most kids got big wheels and whiffle ball sets(don't even get me started on whiffle ball),I got a Atari 2600...ever since then nary a day has gone by where I didn't spend at least a little time playing video games...ok...fine...nary a half-day...would you believe hour???...stop looking at me like that...STOP LOOKING AT ME!!!...ahem...anyway...I've spent copious amounts of time performing grand theft auto in the cities of Liberty and Vice and in the dare you to find it on a map state of San Andreas...I've cruised Saint's Row...stopped Oblivion...I've true crime on both coasts...fought in Tekken,DOA,Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur tournaments...raided more tombs than I can count(and I can count pretty high)...experienced fear and the dead rising...lived in more than one evil residence...I've been called to duty and awarded many medals of honor...fought and killed too many knights of old republic to even begin to guess at the number...I fought for New York,Def Jam style...and I used my katamari to roll up entire cities to repopulate the universe...if for some unfathomable reason you don't play video games or aren't blessed to know someone who does then this might seem like incoherent rambling(actually...it might seem like that no matter who you are...next floor)...that's about all I can think of at the moment...either that or I'm getting bored,hungry...or both...maybe I'll come back later and share my philosophies on life or recipes or something...then again...maybe not...
Music
I love music...deja vu...have I said that already??? Books
I love reading,have since I was a kid.I sort of skipped over alot of the young readers stuff and went straight to adult,my favorite book as a wee young lad was A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle,still love that book actually...it's like ccomfort food for the brain.I'm a huge fan of Douglas Adams,of Hitchhikers Guide and Dirk Gently fame(I know something really obscure and geeky about the plot of the first Dirk Gently book...ask nicely and I'll probaly ignore you and eat lunch,be rude and I'll give you the details).He was one of the most creative writers ever...in the history of this...and many other universes(or would that be universi???).Intersestingly enough,THE most creative writer in the entire multiverse(including the alternate universe where I like seafood),Neil Gaiman,wrote a book about Douglas Adams and the Hitchhikers phenomenon,interesting read.Neil is multitalented,he writes short stories,novels and comic books(hmmm...maybe I should move all the stuff I wrote about comic books here...to the book section...just have to remember where I hid it amongst all this rambling...found it...I am honestly ashamed that for some reason it didn't occur to me to put something with the word books in it in the books section...oh well)...let's see...Green lantern(and the Corps),Justice League and Society of America,The Flash,Birds of Prey,Outsiders,52,Metal Men,Booster Gold,Suicide Squad,Checkmateand other DC comics I'm sure I'm forgetting...I used to be a big fan of Marvel comics but for the most part they've driven their books into the ground with crossover after crossover...Civil War,World War Hulk and the coming Skrull Invasion crap...they turned Am,erica into a fascist nation...that's not cool...they do still have some decent books...Immortal Iron Fist,Punisher War Journal,Ultimate Spider Man and the New Avengers...the X-books are still great...excellent stories and they stay out of the company wide crossovers for the most part...time to make the donuts...
