About me:
I am an unofficial Myspace Page dedicated to (but not limited to) the following systems:
LOLA BBS, LISA BBS, TREX BBS, LOIS BBS
(these were like mini-IM Chat rooms, a benefit to these was that since long distance calls were pricey, most of the people that would log in were locals)
and
Gretchen Voice System, Gertrude Voice System, Godiva Voice System and Alex Voice System.
(these were voice systems similar to the computer BBS. Chat Room(s) and sometimes voice mail)
These were systems operated by Lambda Switchboard software by Lambda Boy (A.k.a 'Dude')
Were/Are you a user of any of these software 'vergin's? Feel Free to Add and Join! You KNOW you want to! You could also meet other people who used the other systems!
LOLA's Orientation should be "Sitting on a Menlo Park Phone Book"
I am maintained by Rich
AKA: "Phoenix"/"Pluggin' Play"/"Mashed Potatoes 270"
Who I'd like to meet: All the Users of Lambda Software. (Even those who just knew OF it). No matter who you are...we've always encouraged being social.

Hey LOLA BBS, et al, I just took this quiz, Which STD Are You?. Check out my result on my profile, then go take the quiz and then see what you get!
Let's do the time warp again.:) Man this brings back some very happy memories. I remember sitting in my apartment, (in Oregon) connecting with my 2400bps Modem through PcPursuit to connect. Everyone always asked me if I was phreaking.:) I always enjoyed chating with folks rather then doing my home work... funny thing; I have gone back to school at 39 for re-training and am playing on line rather doing home work.. guess somethings don't change.
First of all, I want to send kudos for the breast cancer awareness video... I was diagnosed a few weeks ago...so... keep up the great promo's! Lets spread the word about this myspace page... surely we all know someone who knows someone... ya know... Kimber (other than Rich, I don't know anynone yet)
OoooooooHHH LOLA, How Have you been? You are going to love this, I just recently came across a Tractor-Feed Printout (from a 9-pin printer) of an Old LOLA User List! Ha Ha Ha.. So where should I post it? It might take a little while to input it, or maybe I should just scan it? I might have a photo of an old-Commodore 64 and 300 baud acoustic modem you could use as a picture for this page, rofl! Good Luck finding everyone, I'm looking forward to seeing some old faces. Love, Pengo
