Welcome everybody :)

My name is Lola Lou . I am French, from Lille. I moved to Warsaw - Poland - in 1995 ... 10 years later I celebrated my 10th year of career, the 18th of November 2005... ( who would have thought !?)

I then moved to Brussels - a town I adore where I had exiled myself for fear of ending tragically like Lady Diana, stuck in the pieces of a BMW tapestry on the walls of a dark tunnel...

More seriously, let's say I felt the need to be face to face with myself again for a while... ( what a CHARMING COMPANY! )

I am now back in Poland for a while, and very happy to be here :)

Let's talk about the show :

I sing live, usually alone on stage, although I do regularly invite singers or dancers to join me or get myself invited to join other performers ...I sang a duet with Maryla Rodowicz ( the Polish female Johnny Halliday equivalent) in front of the former president's wife at the Warsaw Congres Hall . I have also sung with Justyna Steczkowska, had shows with the dancers of Delight Trigger (Queen-Paris) and Sabbath (the Polish Folies Bergeres)...

I have also been organising a Show at Utopia, the most famous Polish Club, where I invite the Best drags from all over Europe . Among the guest who have already performed on the stage of the "Girls Girls Girls " Nights : Vinyl Desert storm, Gil de Brasil, Fernanda Lust, marla and Bruno, Nicky Nicole, Joan Jullian, Miss terry from Madame Jojo's - London, etc....

I shall stop here or people will say I am bragging...

I usually produce myself in front of straight audiences, as well as for company parties, club openings, Galla Nights, etc...But I don't forget my family and always have one regular show in a Gay club ..

Is that all ?

Of course not ! I have also played for television, among others in the latest Polish adaptation of "Hamlet" ( as the Queen of Actors) for the "Teatr- Telewizja Polska" for TVP in 2003, and on stage facing Ewa Kasprzyk in the only authorized theatrical version in date of Patty Diphusa, from Pedro Almodovar ( as Addi Posa) in 2005. In 2004, I was invited to sing in Lille, then the European Capital of Culture, as a representative of the new Polish Culture : Nowa Polska...

Okay, and apart from singing and acting, do you cook aswell ?!

No, not really, but I design my own costumes and do my make-up all alone ! :) I am also my own manager and Artistic Director...You've understood it : My motto is : DIY !!! Still, the Show wouldn't be what it is without the help of my musical producer, my seamstress ladies, the DJ, the sound technicians, the lighting experts, and most of all, not without the love of my husband and hairdresser, my fans and the public who have given me the possibility to become successfull through the past 10 years !!! Thanks to you all :)

Taste and colours, let's discuss it:

I hate vulgarity, the lack of education and intolerance... I have big issues with the lack of professionalism as I am very demanding with my own self and expect the same from others...

I don't really like stupid people although it is thank to them we know what WE are worth ! I love singing, I love bringing happiness... I love when straight and gay, young and not so young, my public has fun and dances altogether in sweet harmony...

I love being on stage, I love my job ... I love life...

I don't really deal with politics but there are 2 messages I try to get throught to my public, in my own little way :

TOLERANCE - a concept that is becoming hard to grasp in a country which government swung to the extreme- right wing :( Wake up, Poland ! Wake up ! SAFE SEX., I beg you, please stop the massacre!! :(

Talking about sex...

Well, actually , NO ! No sex ! lol ! I am not a transvestite and the need I have to perform the way you see me here is definitly not sexual, but strictly artistic, so keep your little winnies in and just listen to me sing ;) More over, I am a very serious girl, totally in love and faithful to the gorgeous man who stole my heart ..
