Yesterday mom and dad took Nikki and me to Homer Lake (about 20 minutes from Champaign, IL) and we had a blast!
We got to tromp around in the water, and then we went for a hike in the woods! I was a little jealous because Nikki got to go off-lead, but that probably has something to do with me playing the "catch me if you freakin' can" game when I get loose! BOL! I found a big turtle with orange stripes on the trail, but mommy told me "NO!". He was sorta over on his side, so mommy picked him up and walked him into the woods and set him down. He was pretty and big! About the size of a small pizza! It was really humid on the trail, so when we found the stream in the woods, me and Nikki laid in it! Then we hiked up the spillway back to the far side of the park where we had left the truck, to take a break! We got to lay in the lake too! Then we took pictures! YAY! There were other dogs there and I made sure they knew I was there. BIG GIRL BARKS! Oh, we had so much fun!
Mommy says she will have pics up soon. She has to finish the roll and take it in to the store where she gets them put on disc =)
